As the weather becomes more comfortable for going out in lighter clothing, the frequency of rain is gradually becoming a concern.

Our desktop version of the TeleRobot "kubi," which was one of our flagship products and had been on sale since 2015, ceased production two years ago. Since then, we have received many inquiries about a successor model. We are pleased to announce that we have completed the mass production order for the successor model, "kubi2.0," as our own product, and the start date for sales in Japan and globally has been decided!

 Over the past two years, we've been slowly developing the successor model, going through many twists and turns, including having to scrap a model that we had already completed to mass production level. There were many times when I questioned whether it would be better to just give up. We've been tackling the challenges of the previous generation model, taking into account the feedback we received from users regarding things like the weight balance when moving the tablet, battery life, setup methods, the complexity of the power cable, and portability, and we've been pursuing how to create a design that is easy for people in the field to use.

"How can we create a more natural sense of 'being there'?"—The development team's unwavering dedication to this question, and their trial and error, are reflected in this new "kubi 2.0."

 While retaining the original value of telepresence—extending a person's remote presence—we are proud to say that kubi2.0 has become a product that is well-suited to the times as the world enters the era of physical AI, providing a very simple way to give a body to an AI agent. By using it in combination with the self-propelled "temi," it becomes possible to have a teleportation experience that goes beyond the limitations of the robot's movement range, and we would be extremely pleased if this expands the scope of our contribution to our customers' communication DX.

 Furthermore, iPresence has been selected as one of the "300 Thriving Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Small Businesses" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

 This time, as a venture company, we have managed to reach the point of mass production and sales of our own domestically produced robots, and this award is truly the result of the expectations and support of so many people. I am grateful to everyone and everything that has been involved up to this point.
