iPresence is an autonomous driving robottemiAutomated inspection and patrol software for factories utilizing "iPresence-Agent Field LogHas started selling.
This system automates a series of inspection tasks, including regular facility visits, photography, recording, and notifications, allowing personnel to understand the condition of the site without having to visit in person. This product is designed for manufacturing companies that want to "establish a system now that can maintain the same quality of inspections in the future."

What's happening now with on-site inspection work?

Equipment maintenance and inspection services in the manufacturing industry are currently operated stably by many companies. In many cases, experienced personnel who thoroughly understand the site and maintain quality through accumulated know-how are in place.
On the other hand, when we take a medium- to long-term perspective, several changes become apparent.
The retirement or transfer of experienced personnel gradually increases the risk of inspection work becoming dependent on specific individuals. If records are managed manually or in local files, the cost of responding increases as the demand for traceability grows. Even now, nighttime and holiday equipment checks are a burden on personnel, raising the question of how to maintain this system in the future.
None of these are "crises that need immediate attention." However, they are changes that companies will inevitably face at some point in the coming years. Field Log is a product for companies that want to anticipate these changes and take proactive measures.
What is a Field Log?
Field Log is automated patrol, photography, and recording software for factories, developed as part of the iPresence-Agent*1 series. It operates on the autonomous mobile robot "temi" and autonomously navigates the site along a patrol route set via a web management screen, automatically photographing and recording equipment, instruments, and meters at each point.
The acquired data is saved to the cloud in real time, and the person in charge can check it anytime from the office or while on the go. Automatic email notifications are sent to the person in charge upon completion of patrols or detection of anomalies. The accumulated logs can be downloaded in bulk as a ZIP file and used directly for creating reports and audits.
You can freely set, change, add, and delete inspection routes from the temi unit screen. Even if the equipment layout changes or new inspection points are added, you can respond immediately without contacting external parties.
*1 iPresence-Agent is a collective term for software that enables robots and devices, including temi, to function on-site. Its basic design principle is to "create a state where necessary functions can be performed even when there is no human presence."
6 main features

- autonomous patrol temi will autonomously navigate along a pre-set route. Once a schedule is set, it will continuously patrol the site day and night without human intervention.
- fixed point photography This system automatically photographs equipment, instruments, and meters at designated points. Because it captures images from the same angle and under the same conditions each time, it can be used to track changes over time. It also supports reading digital meter readings (accuracy not guaranteed; please use it as an aid to visual inspection).
- Automatic generation of inspection logs The inspection location name, captured image, and inspection time are automatically saved to the cloud as a set. Manual recording and transcription are unnecessary.
- E-mail notification An email is automatically sent to the person in charge upon completion of a patrol and upon detection of an anomaly. This allows you to monitor the situation in real time, even when you are away from the site.
- Download log data in bulk You can download all accumulated record data in a ZIP file. This data can be used directly for periodic reports, audits, and internal sharing.
- Free setting of patrol routes Patrol routes can be freely set, changed, added, and deleted from the temi unit screen. This allows for flexible adaptation to equipment changes and layout revisions.
This is suitable for the following types of workplaces and companies.

Field Log is particularly suitable for companies that have a stable current inspection system but are looking ahead to developing a more robust system for the future.
- A factory that wants to guarantee nighttime and holiday patrols through a system.
Even during times when staff are unavailable, automated patrols continue based on the scheduled procedures. If an anomaly occurs, an immediate email notification is sent, allowing for immediate investigation and response without waiting until the next morning. - Companies that want to prepare for traceability compliance and audits.
Time-stamped image logs are continuously accumulated in the cloud. This allows you to prepare evidence records for ISO compliance and internal audits in parallel with your daily inspection work. - Companies want to eliminate reliance on specific individuals for inspection tasks and streamline the handover process.
By managing inspection routes as data, the same quality of inspections can be maintained even if the person in charge changes. It can also be used to lay the foundation for manualization and standardization. - A factory that wants to efficiently manage multiple production lines.
It patrols multiple points across a set route and centrally manages the records. This allows you to cover large sites with minimal effort.
Introduction flow

The implementation of Field Log proceeds in four steps.
① Online meeting We will provide a detailed product introduction and listen to your current situation and needs to help you resolve any questions and determine whether the solution is feasible.
② Demonstration We will perform operational checks using the actual temi unit. We also offer on-site demonstrations (free of charge for the first time), allowing you to experience the operation, shooting accuracy, and usability of the management screen of Field Log in a real-world equipment environment.
③ Pilot implementation After setting up the patrol routes, we will conduct a trial run (paid rental plan) for about 1-2 weeks. We will verify the accuracy of the recordings, the operation of notifications, and operational issues, and make adjustments for full-scale implementation.
④ Full-scale implementation After successful testing, we will transition to full operation. Even after launch, we will provide ongoing support for operational consultations and route revisions.
*Full-scale implementation is possible even without a trial period.
