Osaka-Kansai Expo Facility Information Center and Rest Area Initiatives
The Osaka-Kansai Expo will attract visitors of all ages, including some who are not accustomed to a completely digital environment. In particular, there are many facilities within the venue, and some visitors may get lost.
At the facility information desks and rest areas within the Expo site, visitors can receive remote service through the telepresence avatar robot (hereafter referred to as telerobot) "temi," and enjoy smooth communication with information and guidance staff. Remote service through "temi" provides a sense of security as if the staff were right in front of you. In addition, by remotely controlling the telerobot, it is possible to receive guidance while moving around the facility. This initiative will make the experience of visitors even richer and more convenient.

Experience the World Expo with "temi" — "Anywhere Expo" that you can participate in from your hospital room or home
The use of "temi" will also be expanded to include those who cannot travel to the Expo site. A project called "Anywhere Expo" will be implemented, allowing children who have difficulty moving due to illness or disabilities to virtually experience the pavilions as if they were walking through the Expo site.
By remotely controlling the telerobot "temi," you can experience the charms of the Expo in real time from your home or hospital room. With live images and sounds delivered to you through your eyes and ears, you can enjoy an immersive Expo experience that fully utilizes your five senses.
