At Japan Drone 2023 held at Makuhari Messe, we conducted a demonstration experiment using a telepresence avatar robot (hereinafter referred to as "Telerobot") at the venue with the aim of building a new business negotiation system. As part of the local 5G demonstration experiment at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Center, this initiative verified the real-time display of telerobots within the digital twin and verified remote business negotiations at exhibitions using telerobots.
A remote operator remotely controlled the telerobot temi placed near each exhibitor's booth and held simulated business negotiations with people at the booth. We looked at the products on display at the booth and listened to explanations, and during the event, we used 10 telerobots and conducted dozens of telerobot remote business negotiations in one day.
